🤖 Meta has now been granted access to public UK users' profiles to develop their AI tools under legal provisions. The tools will use these public posts to help AI tools understand British culture and language. Meta has identified that they will not have access to private accounts or DMs to train AI.
✂️ TikTok is testing a "Delete and Re-Edit" option for already uploaded clips. This feature could make it easier to edit clips should you want to try a different approach or come up with a better idea, with the benefit of hindsight. Unfortunately, you won't be able to make these re-edits in third party apps like CapCut.
📈 Threads has continued to rise in the latest app download rankings, rising to 6th in iOS download charts. Whilst X is still ahead of Threads in terms of the number of actual users, Threads' steady increase in sign-ups means it's one to watch.
⚽ X has published a report showing which topics continue to trend the most on their platform - and sports is the top trending topic. This is followed by gaming in second, then music and food. The report aims to inform brands of focused trends to keep their campaigns at the forefront of X users' feeds.
