Shortlist announced for Eulogy’s Elevator 2021 competition

We are delighted to announce the final shortlist for Eulogy’s 2021 Elevator programme, which this year focuses on technology start-ups spearheading the green economy.

What is the Elevator competition:

Elevator is an accelerator competition enabling early stage technology ventures to pitch for pro bono communications support, designed to help move businesses from start-up to scale-up, whilst accelerating solutions to some of humanity’s modern-day challenges.

The quality of entries demonstrates the incredible potential of UK tech businesses to drive positive environmental and sustainable change, and we’re proud to be supporting this movement.

Every submission was unique and worthy in its own right, but unfortunately we could only take five businesses through to the next stage.

Start ups shortlisted for the Elevator programme:

Ripple

A clean energy ownership platform enabling homes and businesses to part-own large-scale wind and solar farms to supply them with clean, low cost electricity for the long term.

Bide

Through its innovative manufacturing platform, Bide produces environmentally sound consumer services with the goal of simplifying the process of converting daily life into more sustainable behaviours.

EcoTech Visions

A B2B e-commerce platform for buyers and sellers to ethically source products and last mile delivery, EcoTech Visions could transform the industry.

Furthr Earth

Furthr Earth’s mission is to make the act of saving the planet wholly relatable and engaging through the creation of a monthly carbon offset subscription service tracking individuals’ carbon offset in relatable terms, and offering prizes for those who make a big change.

ECODISCO

A sustainable nightlife consultancy, ECODISCO is motivated to support the long term resilience of the nightlife economy by encouraging bars, clubs and venues to transition to sustainable and resilient habits.

Our nominees have been invited to attend a virtual pitch event on the afternoon of Thursday 28th January. Following this, the winner will receive marketing, communications, and branding consultancy services to the value of £30,000, spanning February to July 2021. The remaining four will each receive a Clarity session, Eulogy’s strategic consultancy workshop, which helps businesses identify a communications roadmap to growth.

Elevator’s virtual pitch will be judged by a diverse panel from the technology and communications industry, including Will Miller, Marketing Director at Tech Nation, Elliot Wellsteed-Crook, Director of Community at Forbes Ignite, Maja Pawinska Sims, Associate Editor for EMEA at Provoke,  Bethany Greer, Investment Associate at Bethnal Green Ventures, Lis Field, CEO of Eulogy and Adrian Brady, Chairman of Eulogy.

Thanks again to all the businesses that entered this year’s competition, and we wish our nominees the best of luck for the pitch phase.
