Eulogy launches advertising arm

Press release

Eulogy has formalised its work across paid advertising channels including TV, video on demand, audio advertising, paid social, print and OOH as a new business arm.

The launch consolidates the agency’s creative advertising and paid media offering under director Joss Freestone (pictured), who steps into the role of head of advertising and media.

Freestone joined Eulogy in 2021, after working at creative agencies including Havas, Ogilvy and AMV BBDO.

While at Eulogy, he has been responsible for growing the social media offering, working across clients including American Express, Molson Coors, Virgin Media O2 Business, Doro mobile phones, and Queen Mary University of London.

The move expands Eulogy’s offering beyond earned media and organic social, enabling it to respond to integrated client work from creative through production and media activation.

Freestone said: “This was a no-brainer for us. As the number of channels proliferate, formalising our advertising offer felt like a natural next step, considering the cross-channel work we have delivered in this space over the last three years.

“Offering more integrated services for our clients was simply a case of when, not if. From strategy, creative, production and now paid media, we have a flexible model allowing us to best suit client needs, whether that is delivered in-house or with our network of partners.”

Elisabeth Field, chief executive of Eulogy, said: “This launch is a major step in our ambition to be a through-the-line agency, offering clients an agile and integrated service model that doesn’t exist in many small independent agencies of our size.

“We have 27 years’ experience listening to clients, and our earned media background means we know the value of wrap-around integrated work in leveraging brand and business growth.”

Working alongside Freestone will be Adam Bewley – formerly of We are Social and Spark44 (now Accenture Song) – who serves as head of social, as well as Rich Ware, director of strategy across creative and communications at Eulogy.

Simultaneously, the agency has announced the promotion of Jen Smith to the leadership role of director of people and operations, having previously been people manager.

The 45-strong independent comms agency is the 88th biggest in the UK, according to PRWeek’s latest Top 150 rankings.

Recently, Eulogy won a six-figure brief with the UK’s export credit agency.
